As Larry pointed out this message comes from the server. Aside from the
possibilities that Larry mentioned - are you running CVSNT server on Windows
by any chance? There is a "bug" in the Microsoft C runtime library
implementation of malloc() and realloc() that causes this error to
(incorrectly) occur when a block of memory is reallocated many times (as is
the case with files over about 500MB).

We've given our commercial support customers a few different patches to try
and resolve this and at least one of them has proven to work quite well.
