Firstly - this is not a 'bug' so should NOT be posted to gnu.cvs.bug but
posted instead to gnu.cvs.help

Secondly - and potentially off topic: CVSNT is a 'fork' of the CVS code with
features added like rename, failsafe audit, change sets, merge tracking,
auto-merge, access control lists and 'write through proxy caches' (a great
way to provide 'hot standby' servers for remote locations). CVSNT 3.1 (now
renamed to EVS) was just released a couple of weeks ago and is client
agnostic, ie: it now supports CVS/CVSNT and SVN clients - the next release
(currently planned for February) should also support TFS/VSTS clients. If
you are interested in EVS/CVSNT 3.1 please subscribe to the EVS newsgroup
via the evscm.org web site.
