Dear Sir,
Maybe, it is a bug about the utlilty "ls".
Below comes from screen capture:
DVD/fs1home2/user/ATA/d1a06x[28]>ls -l D1AP0160A.0R.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 101 200 2293850962 Jun 27 03:42 D1AP0160A.0R.gz
DVD/fs1home2/user/ATA/d1a06x[29]>ls -l D1AP0160A.0R.*
ls: No match.
DVD/fs1home2/user/ATA/d1a06x[30]>ls -l D1AP0120A.0R.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 101 200 1472849847 Jun 10 20:34 D1AP0120A.0R.gz
DVD/fs1home2/user/ATA/d1a06x[31]>ls -l D1AP0120A.0R.*
-rw-r--r-- 1 101 200 1472849847 Jun 10 20:34 D1AP0120A.0R.gz
DVD/fs1home2/user/ATA/d1a06x[32]>
The "fs1home2" is a NFS directory, export by Digital UNIX 4.
RedHat Linux 7.2 and 7.3 have the same results.
If any solution, please let me know. Thanks.
