Hi
Testing "cp -au" for an easy backup I ran into the following problem.
Backing up an absolute symlink which then turns into a regular file and
is then backed up again will result in the original refered file being
overwritten rather than the backup symlink being replaced with the new
regular file. I.e. the "-d" does not seem to apply to the destination
symlinks. Wouldn't this be a bug, especially in light of the desired
effect of "-a", making an archive/backup copy of the tree ?

I deny everything, including this.
