ediff hangs

I am trying ediff two files on the beta version of emacs
emacs-21.0.91   compiled on
SunOS 5.7 Generic_106541-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10

It seems to hang (it may be processing, since it worked once
and I was able to ediff the files but after waiting for some
minutes).  I am attaching the two files I am working with.
Nothing great about the files itself ... they are 300 lines
each.

The only way to get out is a kill -9 ..
