The OP is saying that other windows programs require you to hit Ctrl-C
first, whereas Emacs automatically copies. So he is suggesting to
change Emacs such that Ctrl-C is required (or Shift-Insert, since C-c
is used by Emacs for other things). This way, Emacs on windows would
behave more like other windows programs.
Or am I wrong about the other windows programs? I don't use windows.
