Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
I use BibTeX mode for editing BibTeX files.
When the name of an author is "Y. Merle d'Aubign\'e"
bibtex-autokey-demangle-name complains
bibtex-autokey-demangle-name: Name Y. Merle d'Aubigne is incorrectly formed
I am not a native french speaker. But I believe that there is no
typo in this name.
