Ok, I'll request an assign.future form for gnulib to the FSF (my 7th after 
smalltalk, lightning and sed, all of which with the code and documentation 
parts :-) -- and a few more assign.changes... probably fewer than many people 
hanging around gnulib, but still a good deal!).
