what's wrong with the way clisp calls autoheader?!

AUTOHEADER = autoheader

$(CONFIG_H_IN) : %/config.h.in : %/configure.in $(AUTOCONF_FILES)
        cd $* && $(AUTOHEADER) --include=$(CURDIR)/src
