Hi, I realize this thread for open_memstream support in gnulib is now
several years old. Just wondering why it was never completed/merged
into gnulib...
I assume it's too much time/effort to get working on some platforms; and
perhaps not worth it. It'd be nice to have, but I can live without it,
too: tmpfile()+rewind()+fread() seems good enough for the few *BSD users
I support.
