Some time ago, some unixy shells and utils on OS/2 does not understand
/@unixroot notation. They were not built by kLIBC, which supports
/@unixroot notation. However now most of them are being replaced by ones
built by kLIBC.
So your suggestion is reasonable. Thanks.
