Hi Bruno,
thank you for information! Looks like the latest changes to pygnulib.py from
python branch shall enable support at least for Git (I don't have CVS to check
it now). I decided not to put this functionality into standalone module, but
chose to integrate it in pygnulib.py directly; I tried to keep the logic as
similar as it is possible, but of course the implementation differs.
