Hello Bruno and Mohammad,

I am happy to say that with your help I have been able to find and fix the problem. As you suggested, it is a problem with 'makeinfo'. When trying 'makeinfo --version' it shows 'Segmentation fault: 11'. I then added to the PATH the directory where I have installed a (Brew) GNU texinfo 6.7 and it worked perfectly. Thank you very much for the help.

OK, so now if 'makeinfo --version' shows a recent version, you know where
to report the problem ('makeinfo --help' tells you). And if it's an old
version, maybe the issue is already fixed in a newer release?
