I add the gnulib directories to the corresponding
exclude_file_name_regexp--sc_... entries in my cfg.mk, does that work
for you? Perhaps gnulib-tool could generate a gnulib.mk (included by
maint.mk) that add the appropriate sc_... exclusions automatically?
