Follow-up Comment #3, bug #20453 (project gnustep):
I had a close look at the back trace and this looks rather normal to me. A
window gets displayed from the main thread redisplay mechanism. Here I can't
even tell whether a second thread is involved. What I don't see in you back
trace is the reported problem. It cannot be the problem you posted in the
original bug report (Uncaught exception NSInvalidArgumentException, reason:
Tried to add nil to array) as the back trace is already on the X window level
and this is a GNUstep message.
Could it be that you have a second thread running and posted the back trace
from the wrong thread?
