I am not a freebsd expert, but as far as i understand some functions of
libkvm require procfs, some not. Read here:

the post is old though, I have the error on 7.0 release and on upcoming 7.1
beta.
When I chekc here though,

there is no reference to requiring procfs to be mounted.
