I'm happy to announce the release of GRUB 0.97. This is the eighth of
our prereleases leading up to GRUB 1.0. We encourage you to try it, as
we have done a lot of bugfixes and feature enhancement since the
previous release.
The source and binary distributions are available from
<ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub/>.
Send any questions, ideas, bug reports to <address@hidden> or
<http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=grub>.
Here is the relevant NEWS:
New in 0.97 - 2005-05-08:
* Fix the prototypes and the definitions of nested functions. This was
required for gcc-4.
* Implement a more robust workaround for buggy BIOSes which don't pass
boot drive correctly (notably for HP Vectra).
Thanks,
Okuji
