I have uploaded another automake diff at
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/hurd/contrib/jbailey/hurd-automake.gz
**This is still not generally useful**
Differences from the last time are:
1) foo.sh -> foo conversions are now handled
2) .S file in libthreads no longer compiled with -std=gnu99
3) Optimization flag moved from CFLAGS to AM_CFLAGS
4) Makeconf-am is now Makeconf (there's no need for the original in
any of the Makefiles anymore)
5) This diff should be legible. =)
In order to get #5, I didn't do a normal diff - I diff'd configure.in
and Makeconf, and the added all the Makefile.am's as unified diffs.
autoreconf is your friend. =)
Note that I beleive that libthreads should now compile correctly, but
I haven't tested it. I haven't tested any of the binaries though - I
might do that tonight. The SONAME is still 1.0.0 on all of the
libraries.
The following directories do /not/ work - I haven't finished with
them:
boot, hurd, include, pfinet, release, serverboot, trans, utils
Tks,
Jeff Bailey

learning from failures is nice in theory...
but in practice, it sucks :)
