An interesting case is when I have libfnord.so.42 on some filesystem, go to
/lib which is unionfs, and do ln -s libfnord.so{.42,} which writes the
symlink to a filesystem different from that with the library.
Obviously the link should be correct but on its own filesystem it points 
nowhere.
