Hello hurders,
I would like to work on the GNU Mach microkernel in the direction of its
improvement/stabilization.
Thomas Schwinge has submitted a couple of tasks at savannah
that point to the above direction. Thomas, can you give me some more info?
1)GNU Mach's IPC / VM system: You mention that "GNU Mach's IPC / VM system could
be worked on". Can you be a bit more specific? In what direction do you
think/propose it could be worked on?
2)Update-rewrite the device driver glue code in GNU Mach: What are the main
problems with the current glue code? The main issue here is simply enhance
driver support for Mach or something else too that i'm not aware of?
In addition, the GNU Mach Revival Project seems to be interested in similar
things with the above. Their web page at the wiki is a few months old, so if
there is something new about what they are working on, i would like to know.
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Constantine
