Well, there are many routes :-)

I believe the biggest group -- though by far not the only one -- are
those who were browsing GNU website etc., because they support the
ideals of the GNU movement.

Sure -- can't hurt to have more texts about the Hurd out there :-)

Well, when I said "influential people", I didn't necessarily mean those
who are doing most of the coding nowadays... Things are a bit more
complicated around here ;-)

Too bad -- I hoped you would *write* the notes... ;-)

Yeah, the ideas page is actually linked. The student application
template (and the organisation description) however need to be entered
into a form.

It turns out though that as administrator, I can indeed edit them. So if
improvements are made to these in the wiki, I will copy them over.
