Hello,

Unfortunately I inverted the way in my comment, but my latest patch
to fakeroot fixes an old issue with it: the server loop would then
deallocate ports several times, leading to all kinds of awful issues.

Using it for daily work however doesn't seem possible yes, there seem to
be other bugs, e.g. try to apt-get source ttf-tagbanwa (it will fail)
and then dpkg-buildpackage (it will fail).
