Hello,
Recently, the public Hurd server darnassus.sceen.net suffered from
severe file system corruption. The system was reinstalled and I managed
to get what could be retrieved from the previous file systems, but it
seems lots of files are corrupted. Users who have a shell account there
are strongly advised to check the integrity of their files.
Concerning the bug itself, I suspect it was caused by an LBA28/LBA48
issue, because it happened right after resizing the file systems on
a disk which then got larger than 128G.
