Of course! You'll love this project! It'll be super fun and totally
cool!
Take a look at this page:
https://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd/translator/xmlfs.html
The Hurd has an xml translator! How cool is that? You can mount an xml
file, and use standard coreutils to access the file?
image running:
#+BEGIN_SRC sh
$ settrans -a /hurd/xmlfs /path/to/xml/file.xml
$ cd file.xml
$ ls
head
body
$ cd body
$ ls
div
h1
p
footer
#+END_SRC
Do you see the problem? There is no guide on that webpage about how to
do it!
https://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd/translator/xmlfs.html
You have to know about this page to learn how to use it:
http://www.nongnu.org/hurdextras/#xmlfs
Specifically this file:
http://cvs.savannah.nongnu.org/viewvc/*checkout*/hurdextras/xmlfs/README
You could write up a web guide to put on the Hurd website here:
https://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd/translator/xmlfs.html
You can change that xmlfs.html file to say:
The xmlfs translator does this and that, and it's terribly cool and you
should try it right now! Do these command to play with it:
#+BEGIN_SRC sh
your commands here
#+END_SRC
If you do this, and Samuel commits the change, then I will consider
uploading a silly video of me dancing and congratulating you!
