After that I get:
/usr/src/libtool/libtool>make

There is no ltconfig (or a ltconfig*) anywhere.
Copying the ltconfig from my 1.3.5 version didn't help :/
I suggest someone does a fresh checkout of the CVS repository
and has a look at the bootstrapping.
