CemeCon will grant further licences for diamond coated PCB tools Würselen, Germany: The only producer of diamond coatings for PCB tools world wide plans to grant up to five long term licences to tool manufacturers. “Only by concentrating our resources on a few licensees we will be able to assure the area-wide supply of CCDia®MicroSpeed coated tools that is required from the market”, states Dr. Kraus Marketing, CemeCon. Due to the already started negotiations CemeCon expects the closing of the respective licence agreements within the first quarter of 2005. |

CCDia®Microspeed Through CCDia®Microspeed, CemeCon has developed a diamond coating which utilises the elementary properties of this material. Diamond is the hardest material of the world, is extremely smooth and exhibits an extremely low tendency of sticking with respect to hydrocarbons. These advantages have an immediate effect on the production process: The significantly extended tool life by a factor of at least six results in cost savings of approximately 40%. |
