Yes. It would be great if you installed a compiler. GCC[1] has quite
good ones at the moment, and Fedora Core 4 even has them prepackaged
nicely. I guess
yum install gcc
should get you going. If you need compilers for C++ or other languages,
install them, too, please (g++, gfortran etc).
