Pathscale compiler bug |

Greetings Libtool! Long-time Libtool fan here, reporting that we ran
into the exact same bug as described on this list about 8 months ago
by Peter Wainwright:
http://www.mail-archive.com/address@hidden/msg00899.html
There was no reply to Peter's post on the list; did anyone have a
chance to look at his patch, perchance?
We solved the issue in Open MPI by providing 2 slightly-modified
versions of Peter's patch in our source tree -- one for LT 1.5.22 and
one for LT 2.1a. We tested these patches on a variety of Linux
compilers (gcc 3.4.3, Intel 9.1, PGI 6.2, Pathscale 3.0), and it
seems to work for all of them. The patches will be getting more wide-
spread testing as the change propagates out to the other Open MPI
organizations through our automated testing framework over the next
week or so.
Is there any chance that this can be fixed for the final LT 2.1 release?
Thanks!
