Hello,
On June 2, 2010 the behavior that libtool drops the compiler flag
-fstack-protector was confirmed to be a libtool bug. A patch that
fixes this was included in the same e-mail that confirmed the bug
(http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.gnu.libtool.bugs/7341).
However, that patch has not been included in libtool version 2.4,
released on September 22, 2010. Has this patch been forgotten ? We
need that patch for the Net-SNMP project.
