Ordinary phone calls are no easier or harder to tap than Skype calls,
but tapping is a different issue. The point is that Skype requires
nonfree software in your computer.
I don't know of a free program for preventing phone tapping.
Tox may do the job.

Skype: No way! That's nonfree (freedom-denying) software.
Use Ekiga or an ordinary phone call.
