Not really, because you get tuplet bracket. I know I can erase it with
the transparent property, but surely all the notes in a chord
(attached to the same stem) are the same length by definition?

Currently {e1*2/3 f g} makes the first note of the chord 2/3 of a
semibreve and the other two notes semibreves, and the whole chord is
typeset with the length of a semibreve, i.e ignoring the 2/3 request!

That make no sense to me.

I thought that the /times notation was really designed to input
tuplets and the *FRACTION was to arbitrarily modify the effective
length of a note without changing the notehead that is typeset.

Have I misunderstood.
