I tried yesterday to typeset a violin part for an
orchestral piece, that includes some divisi sections
typeset on two separate staves.
My first attempt was something like the attached
file wrong.ly. It has two problems, first of all,
the first score line goes on after the last bar
line. Secondly, I get an extra time signature where
the second divisi stave begins. I could probably
get rid of the time signature by some tweaking, but
I don't understand the end of the first line. Is it
a bug or a strange feature?
As a workaround, I had to begin both staves at the
beginning of the score, which solves both problems,
see the file correct.ly below.
