Bison should never crash with sig 11, no matter what. If it does, then that is a bug. FWIW, I'm running RH 7.3, and (obviously) don't have any troubles compiling lily.
Hm. Are you running the default bison? I didn't get a segfault, BTW. I ought to have noted that in my previous email. It was only the build error which was the same.
