Whoops.  Yes, you're right.  I thought it was the other way around, but
Britten's second cello suite agrees with you.  :)

I wanted a note with a dot and a line, but I was confused about which
way around they were supposed to be.

I'll add a note about this in the User manual -> Articulation.
