closing barline too short

Hi,

looks like the barline closing a staff or system is a tad
bit (half a stafflinewidth on both ends, I'd say) too short,
producing a staircase effect visible at bigger font sizes.
There is no such problem at the beginning of the staves
(where the barline is somewhat thicker, too).  This can be
observed anywhere, for example on simple.pdf from the 2.4
distribution or the docu web page.
