The devel branch is currently undergoing major changes.  Unless you 
really know
what you're doing, we highly recommend that you use the stable branch 
(2.4).

If you're determined to use 2.5, then please use the most recent 
version (2.5.10).

This would be something specific for Mandrake 10.1.  Search the web for
the relevant RPMs for mandrake.
