The fretless problem is as follows: the notation

 \markup{ \column < \finger "3" \finger "2" > }

is no longer accepted, but

 \markup{ \column { \finger "3" \finger "2" } }

seems to be working instead.

The appearance, however, is fairly bad: lines from the tablature overlap
numbers in the PDF. The generated PS coredumps gv after some error
messages, and it is classified by ggv as "non-valid postscript
document". 

I'm including the PDF, for comparison.
