Hi!

I have tried to use LilyPad. It is a nice program with minimal editing
capabilities. I found, however, a critical bug in it with Windows XP.
If you resave the file, so that its length becomes shorter, the end-of-file is
missing and the length of the file does not actually become shorter. This will
result in extra characters in the end of file which are seen after reopening the
file.

Steps to reproduce the:

1) Edit a file, save it, close lilypad
2) reopen the file, make it _shorter_, and save it, close lilypad
3) compile it -- errors appear
4) reopen the file with notepad, you will see extra characters which do not
   belong to the file

Therefore, it is impossible to make a file shorter using only LilyPad.
