Starting with Lilypond 2.7.9 it seems as if PNG images have alpha channel
transparency turned on as default. Unfortunately Internet Explorer can't handle
such images - the transparent parts are black; not very useful. Is there an
option to turn transparency off? If not, can we have such an option, please?
