On several sample scores, this greatly improves the visual appearance of the

can certainly write an emacs macro to insert the context settings into the
layout section, but I wonder if it's possible to handle this more globally.
Is there a way to define something like a music expression that can be
included here? Suppose I want to add another setting, like:
\context { \RemoveEmptyStaffContext }

Hi, Michael. One thing you could do is use a command line program like sed,
or one for batch search and replace for Windows (with a good GUI): BK
ReplacEm.
Now a more personal question: Are most of your scores hymns? Could you share
an example score or a template of your typesetting? I have a project of
preparing lots of hymns in Lilypond and would like to see some good examples
to follow.
