I tried your source file using two lilypond versions that I happened to
have available: 2.16.1 and 2.17.11. See attached.
The problem with the vertical placement of slurs is not obvious to me,
but then I do not read tablature or play fretted instruments.
Could you point out exactly where the problem lies?
Or if another tab player could confirm that there is a bug here, that
would be great too.
