My point was that this snippet doesn't demonstrate what it claims. In 2.14 it
was correct: "some metronome marks may be too close and therefore are printed
vertically stacked, as demonstrated in the first part of this example": in
current versions this is no longer true: the tempo marks are not stacked. It
therefore seems that spacing them even further apart isn't consistent with what
the snippet claims to show.

It looks to me that the information that the snippet is trying to convey
has been wrong since 2.15.n. I think it simply needs deleting.
Please check LSR modification before deleting

does the job.
