I tried really hard to provide a minimal example! But always when I remove a
measure or a note in any music expression or some other unrelated markup it
works.
LilyPond 2.18.2
Frescobaldi 2.0.15
Windows 8.1 x64
I get this kind of error very often in not-simple scores on Windows 8 and
never be able to reduce it to a minimal example.
Your code compiled fine for me, with
LilyPond 2.19.6
Frescobaldi 2.0.16
Ubuntu 14.04 x64
Does it fail for you *every* time, i.e. can you reproduce it reliably?
Did you get this kind of error in the past?
If not, what changed: update of Windows, update of LilyPond?
You might try uninstalling LilyPond, then re-installing it.
I seem to remember some odd behaviour relating to Windows $PATH getting
corrupted.
(Really reaching for it!) You might try copying/pasting your code into a
completely new text file, then try compiling from the command line, just
to see if there is anything odd about the .ly from Frescobaldi.
Beyond that, I'm out of ideas.
Cheers,
Colin
