This situation is annoying me now long enough. And I think a up-to-date German documentation is important.I agree. I wanted to put work in it myself at one point of time, but my lack of being able to sort priorities out hits rather badly here. The most important priority would be to get the documentation up-to-date. But since I'm bothered by its current writing style (in German, the degree of informality in "proper" documentation tends to be quite lower than in American English), I end up rewriting everything, and I don't actually have the time and energy for that.
Does that mean that you have changes, you want to introduce still, David? My priority would be to correct wrong pieces and missing sections (of course with minor changes on the fly). And then look for style issues.
I also think that the German version will be a bit more formal than the English one and appreciate the hints on this style issue. I also spotted minor flaws which I want to correct.
There is a special list for translators (also mentioned in the CG). For technical questions particular to the translation process, it might make more sense communicating there.
Thanks, I will subscribe there. I consider that a 'go' - a confirmation by Francisco would be still nice. Cheers, Joram
