Further to above, page numbers are removed as well.
Basically, the whole page formatting is ignored, as the purpose is 
getting all the music in a single document (the cropped PDF is always 
one page).

"Typeset image" might implicitly suggest that only image output is 
possible, while this works for PDF as well.

I suggest this description:
Compress all the music in a single page output file. Margins, page 
numbers and tagline are removed from the output.
