You just need to buy every single LilyPond developer a Mac and guarantee
that you will keep doing so in future.

The less realistic option is that you convince Apple to get a clue and
permit running their development libraries on non-Apple hardware.

A third option is to port everything over to OpenDarwin or what is left
of it, but I have my doubts regarding its timely availability for all
relevant Apple platforms.

You could offer Marnen to financially sponsor his unofficial porting
work so that he does not end up shortchanged for providing the Apple
installers created on his Apple hardware.

In short: as long as people are not willing to work themselves for the
change they want to see, it will not happen.
