First, problems with Windows and GNU make are best addressed to the
address@hidden mailing list.

Second, note that the Cygwin version of GNU make is not generally
managed by these groups: it's slightly modified from the standard
version so you should ask about it on a Cygwin list or group.

Third, the above is not enough information for anyone to help: does it
give the error "command not found" because it can't find make?  Or does
it start make, but then when make tries to run a command it says
"command not found"?  What command is not found?  Generally this means
that whatever command you tried to run could not be found in any
directory on your Path variable.  When you talk to the Cygwin people
about this please include the exact command you typed and the exact
error message you received.
