How to install gmake and pkg-config? |

bug-make,
I encountered a problem when I was trying to compile a gtk programm on HPUX
11.0.
I followed the instructions and have downloaded the following
packages:'atk-1.9.0.tar','gtk+-2.6.0.tar','glib-2.6.0.tar','pango-1.6.0.tar',''pkgconfig-0.17.tar','make-3.80'.
First, I installed 'make-3.80' by using command './configure
--prefix=/opt/gtk'. Then 'make','make install'.
Secondly, I tried to install 'pkgconfig-0.17' using the same command, but it
went wrong when I run 'make' command, it displayed error informatino such as:
<Bundled>cc:"glibconfig.h",line 30:error 1000: unexpected symbol:"int".
.
.
.
<Bundled>cc:"glib.h",line 767:error 1000: unexpected symbol:"*".
<Bundled>cc:error 2017:Cannot recover from earlier errors, terminating.
It seemed that I have failed to install the pkg-config, also I can't not find
any GNU make or gmake in my computer. What should I do next?
IF I HAVE BEEN USING A WRONG WAY TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO
CORRECTLY RUN A GTK PROGRAMM ON HPUX.
Thank you very much and I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Best wishes,
nlsde
