I'm sure it does.  I admit I wondered why you hadn't been putting it in
the `TH` calls of _all_ the man pages.

I can prepare a patch to do just that.  I'll also check to see if the
patch level is zero-length and leave it (and a leading dot) out if so.

Is 6.5 happening today, or maybe next week?  Are you gating the release
on this?

Oh yes, the notorious "where man pages go to die" dot net.

It certainly lets you know how close to the bleeding edge they keep
their documentation...

By the same token, nothing we do to change the ncurses man pages will be
reflected there.

To his credit, Michael Kerrisk is much more diligent about this, even if
his converter (like all man2html converters) has problems.

The elision of _all_ of the groff page summaries does hurt my feelings.
