Hi Tushar,
With 32-bit GNU Prolog you are limited to about 256MB of address space because of special uses of some bits in the address word.
If you have a 64-bit operating system you can install a 64-bit version of GNU Prolog which will give you an effectively unlimited address space.
Cheers

Hello,

I use Ubuntu 10.04 on 32-bit with 4GB memory + 1 GB swap space.

I handle large and numerous lists in my application so need to set GLOBALSZ over 512000 i.e. 512 mb +

I am able to set it to OK upto 450000 (450 mb) but even setting it to 475000 (475 mb) and starting gprolog aborts with "Fatal "Error: Memory allocation fault".

Thank you in advance for any information.

Regards,
Tushar.
